Tuffet Foot Stool

Learn how to make a Tuffet foot stool.

Skill Level: beginner
Skill Details: Confident beginner. Must have knowledge of your sewing machine and be able to sew straight lines with a 1/4" quilting foot.
Materials Included: Staple gun and staples, 12
Requirements: Freezer paper 12"x25"--- Fine tipped pen for marking [not frixion pen]---- Ruler 6"x12"---- Muslin 8pcs 12" x 25" (light coloured)--- Pins, scissors, seam ripper, rotary cutter and mat---- Working sewing machine------ Thread to match [cotton]---- Jelly roll [20 strip minimum] [cotton or batik] or 32 pieces of fabric 3"x20" [fat quarter friendly]--- Fabric to cover button 6" square--- 2 Fat quarters to cover bottom to hide staples is optional--- 1 m upholstery batting--- legs---4 (Home Depot has selection that will work with the T nuts installed in the plywood)--- Spray glue-- optional--- Fabric glue-- optional--- Pattern--- 18" foam Tuffet--- 18" x 1/4" plywood with drilled holes for button and feet (25.00).
